The use of an electrolytic aluminium chassis, DC heated preamp tubes, copper shielded power transformers, and carefully filtered power supply insure total hum and noise below 25mV even on phono inputs.
Merely 15-20 hours are required for the average kit builder to assemble the LK-72 using Scott’s foolproof assembly procedures. The only adjustment required is the DC balance which is quickly accomplished by an ingenious hum-null method.
