Three Head Stereo Cassette Deck (1979-84)
The 1000ZXL is capable of taking full advantage of pure metal particle tape and provides three-head monitoring capability using Nakamichi’s unique ‘discrete’ head configuration and ‘auto azimuth alignment’ feature.
Beyond that, a newly developed micro-processor automatically calibrates the 1000ZXL for any kind of tape with incredible precision, and the test data including information about noise reduction and playback equalisation can be stored in its memory.
The 1000ZXL also boasts improved random access capability with previously un-thought of versatility and precision.
These and a host of other features make the deck a milestone in cassette deck technology.
