Thanks to its refined Circuit Board Module construction, the Sansui 771 outperforms many higher priced receivers in the field.
It offers a very superior power amplifier, an all-stage direct coupled OCL powerhouse delivering a continuous 40wpc to drive up to two pairs of speakers at a time.
The preamplifier section and control sections are equally outstanding, providing inputs and controls for two tape decks, two aux, a microphone circuit, a phono circuit and an FM multiplex circuit.

This is one of the best Sansui devices. It is totally underrated, because it is from the beginning of Sansui quality going down. But in terms of sound, quality is step up from all before that. It is the best sounding unit that I ever heard, and I heard a lot. Great punch, great soundstage, serious authority. Everything’s there. Just buy it and enjoy. And don’t worry about the quality, mine is 48 years old and still works flawlessly.
